Who we are

This policy explains how Al Anwar Jewels for Gold and Silver Manufacturing (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use this website. We are a gold and silver jewellery maker based in Kuwait, serving customers across the Middle East and, for ready-made pieces, India.

What we collect

We collect only the following.

• Sign-in details. If you create an account or sign in, we receive your email address and, if you use Google, your name and profile picture from Google. If you use a password, it is stored in scrambled form by our sign-in provider. We never see it.
• Your cart. The pieces you add to your cart are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to us until you choose to message us about them.
• Anonymous activity counts. When a piece is opened or added to a cart we record the piece and the time, so we can see which designs people like. This record has no name, email, account or IP address attached to it.
• Messages you send us. When you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we receive what you send, including your phone number or email address and any delivery address, sizes or photos you share. Orders, payment, delivery and returns are agreed in that conversation.

We do not use advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

• To let you sign in and keep your account secure.
• To answer your enquiries, agree orders and deliver your jewellery.
• To understand which pieces are popular, so we can decide what to make.
• To keep the website working and to prevent misuse.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We use your information only for these purposes, and only because you have given it to us or we need it to serve you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that run the site:

• Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in system.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there. Their own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
• Delivery companies, who receive your name, address and phone number when we send you an order.

Some of these services process information outside your country. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account details are kept while your account exists. Messages and order details are kept for as long as we need them to look after your purchase, handle any returns or complaints, and meet legal and accounting requirements. Anonymous activity counts are kept so we can compare one season with another. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information, or your account;
• stop using your information where you gave consent, by withdrawing that consent.

We handle your information in line with the laws that apply in Kuwait. If you are in India, you also have the rights given by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access, correct and erase your data, and to have complaints answered. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the site needs to work. A sign-in session keeps you signed in, and your browser remembers your cart and which pieces you have recently viewed, so refreshing the page does not count the same view twice. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics, so there is nothing for you to switch off. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings. The site will still work, though you will be signed out and your cart will be empty.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you think a child has given us information, please tell us and we will delete it.

Security

Our data is held with a reputable provider, sign-in is encrypted in transit, and access to our admin tools is limited to the owner. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private, and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site.
